I agree with people saying be yourself, but it doesn't mean you can't improve, right? Maybe you just lack social skills, and in that case you can watch a lot of videos on youtube about that (charisma on command for example) or read a book if you prefer.

And If you feel like reading yuri is bad for you at this moment you should definitely take a break (and maybe find another hobbies instead), just listen to your heart.
