Rant
The other day my mom kept telling me that I was forgetting to tell her something but she wouldn’t tell me what it was and I had no idea what she was talking about and then later she told me it was Mother’s Day so I said sorry I forgot and wished her a happy Mother’s Day, which I felt bad about but I had a lot on my mind that day. Fast forward to today and both my parents come home and just go off on me saying it was impossible for me not to know because it was on the the whole week(I don’t watch tv). They just keep yelling and yelling saying how my older siblings called her and that I was lying saying that I didn’t know. They called me stupid saying I must not be paying attention in school, how does that even make sense?
man i feel bad for u. hope ur parents realize that you also have a life and not everything revolves around them. also, rlly, what does school have to do w/ this??!! reply
I think your mom’s feelings were hurt. Even in this post you mention you had a lot on your mind, but to a mom who looks forward to getting a day of a little spoiling, or at least an “I love you, happy Mother’s Day” being told you had a lot on your mind just doesn’t make the cut. Especially if she goes to work and everyone asks about her M...... 1 reply
none of what they said made any sense like im so confused where they got all that information from and how they connected it to your conversation reply
i mean if your mom said she had a lot on her mind on your birthday and she forgot to do anything I think a lot of people would be heartbroken, but I don't think yelling is the way, apologize and do something nice for her later reply
