thoughts on neopronouns

I understand "xe/xem" since they were used decades before but to me if ur gonna refer to urself as "kitten/kittenself" it's just a noun I wouldn't include it w Neo pronouns TO ME it seems so mocking. ofc I'm still uneducated abt this stuff I'll call u it if u prefer it but I never rly understood y ppl put them in the same category   4 reply

Neopronouns are 100% valid and honestly cooler, they’re not that hard to grasp and if u practice enough they become easier to use, I know and understand that he/she and they doesn’t represent everybody’s gender identity, so if neo prns bring someone gender euphoria, I’m gonna use them   1 reply

people who go by neopronouns deserve to be treated fairly tbh. one of my online friends actually go by they/them and xe/xem pronouns and I've pretty much gotten used to them by now, I used to be kinda confused in the beginning but it got really easy for me once others taught me! I'm glad someone brought this up. :)   reply

I'm confused by it, and I do my best to respect their pronoun, but I am extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, uncomfortable calling a person that is grown/ not related to me/ a stranger kitten, bun, bunny or anything like that.   1 reply

I use neopronouns myself and I don't really care about what pronouns you use but I find it uncomfortable that some people use "god/gods/godself" pronouns since I am religious but I will try my best at using them.   reply

i was very against it at first, but you know what, just respect people. if you don't want to call them by those pronouns, you can always call them by their names, there's no excuse. though i have to add, when explaining neo pronouns, people need to be a little more considerate. i had a person that went by neo pronouns say to me they didn't go by th......   reply

This is copy and paste. Just because you don't respect neopronouns doesn't make you transphobic. Like is it an asshole move? Yes. Aren't neopronouns (usually) for people who feel like the most used pronouns don't suite them? Do using neoproouns automatically make you transgender?
