Shounen is a gay genre, not because the writers are LGBTQ+ friendly, but because they don't think male and female characters can form deep relationships, romantic or otherwise. They reserve all the depth in relationships between male characters. But at the same time we're supposed to accept that they're "just friends"? gtfo

FR, ion even wanna watch boruto because of this. The thing is, even thought I literally despise Hinata's character, I lowkey get why they decided to have Naruto and Hinata get together.
