I just know people are going to be extremely pissed at the next chapters of Passion and Codename Anastasia.

Ok, so we all know that in the past few years, Korean webcomics have become front and center (at least on this website), but it hasn’t always been so.

I don’t dislike them, and if I had to rescue one, I would, but preference-wise, I’m a cat person all the way.
A coworker brings his dogs into the office, and sometimes the doggy smell is too much for my liking, but my other coworker who is more of a dog person than I am, doesn’t seem to be bothered by that doggy smell.

So over on Twitter I saw a post saying that buying merch wasn't really supporting the artist/author and I got curious, what do you guys think? I'm not talking about fan art or merch, but official merch.
I buy a lot of merch, but sometimes I don't actually buy the manga/manhwa/manhua chapters/books for whatever reason.
Granted, I have not really read much of Flashlight, but the little I read, it never struck me as Shutline jr, and one time I was reading a random chapter of Flashlight and the ML just rubbed me the wrong way that I just gave up on even trying to continue to read it. So now seeing all the discord on Twitter and on here, I guess my gut feeling was correct. I’ve gotten to a point in my life where obsessive types are not to my liking (when it’s presented as a romantic gesture).

And I think it makes sense. Thinking back on some of the things I read and enjoyed back in my late teens/early 20s and if I’m honest, I can’t go back to reread. They don’t appeal to me anymore. I’m a lot more cognizant of my limits. What I can and cannot stomach and how far I can read/watch something before I need a break.
I’ve been at it since 2004 and have read a lot, but lately I’ve been hearing some titles being talked about and even though I know about them, I never actually read them so I got curious how many people have not read some of the classics that were big back in the early 2000’s?
Hell, the series that introduced me to yaoi was Fake my Sanami Satoh and I never read it to its completion.
