Buying Merchandise
So over on Twitter I saw a post saying that buying merch wasn't really supporting the artist/author and I got curious, what do you guys think? I'm not talking about fan art or merch, but official merch.
I buy a lot of merch, but sometimes I don't actually buy the manga/manhwa/manhua chapters/books for whatever reason.
They're more or less right, while the artist/creator DO benefit from it, the company that they collabed with to make it will get a significant cut from it to cover the expenses used to make them, buying the manwha/manhua, or something they personally made and designed does a LOT more than just buying merchandise reply
