What do you mean by "black hairstyles"? Are you talking about an Afro? Extensions? Wigs? You cannot have black hairstyles because they have cultural significance. What you would be doing is considered cultural appropriation. It isn’t for your hair. Protective styles are going to fuck up your hair whether you do them right or not. All that oil and all that dirt is going to build up. Protective hairstyles are meant to clean, not come out looking like dreads instead of locs. They are not good for your hair. And don’t romanticize being black.
