Am I the only one who doesn’t get why bl authors feel the need to add in toxicity and r@pe? Like bro Idk why so many manhwas and mangas like that exist. Is it so hard to make a couple with a healthy relationship? I’m honestly thinking about taking a break from bl but I can’t find an good straight manhwas/ mangas to get into. Some authors need to chill out fr. Lol I think I’m gonna start reading more action/horror cause I’m tired of it

Only those bl get popular that show a fetishized version of queer relationships. It is a matter of fact that most of the bl readers (specially those who call themselves fujoshis) are fetishizers. For me Its boring when there no thrill and amusement to see in the manga i read. I dont mind if there rape or toxicity in the bl or any other manga.

In my experience that only happens when the BL is part of the psychological, drama, horror categories sooo maybe stop reading those genre of BL

I agree bro but like sometimes people really like something dramatic and toxic, including me who likes seeing myself suffer by getting attached to one of the characters and then end up getting my hart broken when the other person hurts them in some way.
