Did you of didn’t you ever had the feeling that you weren’t alone thanks to manga and anime? Or even if you had/have friends, but still prefer To be at home whit the laptop or tablet or whit your phone Reading manga’s or watching anime.??
I did and still do, I don’t know to explain it properly but still everyday I love reading manga’s. And in my environment nobody understands me for it. I don’t know how it is to others if i’m Here reading and talking to you I don’t feel lonely at all
The feeling of loneliness is not cause by a lack of companionship but the lack of understanding. You may have all the friends in the world but if they don't understand how you feel, you'll still be lonely. That's because you alone will be the only one to understand what you're going through.

I agree with you guys... Its a good thing to know that this kind of group or 'environment' exists and age doesn't have anything to do with it.. I've been watching anime since forever.. I could call it my safe haven.. Like when the turmoil is too much, and u want to get out of it for a while..

It's feels great, since we don't need to explain ourselves here. The people who we communicate with on this site, are into the same things or at least have an open mind (with a few exceptions). Yeah sometimes. But other times, I feel even lonelier because a lot of the times people who are supposed to be in your community and share your interests, actually ruin it by being overly aggressive or looking for something to attack other people in their community.
Example: a gay man shamed a male character in a manga who wore feminine clothes.
