For the lack of communication pet peeve of yours that may work in K-dramas but it's just annoying in yaoi. My pet peeve however, is when main character of yaoi is drawn so girly (the uke at least, I love it when the seme is the cute smaller one). Annoys me the most is either one of the main characters being toyed around with to the extent where they are constantly being put in that "heartbroken-i-dont-know-what-to-fucking-do" moment. I really don't like forced sex. Like when the seme is just way too over-possessive and accuses the uke of infidelity and then jumps them. Or when they blame literally everything on the uke. "It's all your fault because you're too cute. Oh, you said stop? No can do." Sound familiar? Unfortunately, this type of trope is very common in yaoi. reply
