Just noticed how most of you hoes out there would simp for a bad boy/edgy guy, or straight out, a literal psychopath instead of a guy who treats his mother good, would treat you good, would buy you extra large fries with sundae and wouldn't end up murdering you. In short, I just wanna know why you fantasize and think that your relationship with- for example- dabi wouldn't end up being toxic af, thank you.
I can't speak for everyone. I think it has sth to do with the fact that I might perceive the 'toxic' person to never be able to personally harm me. For book and movie characters, the thrill of seeing them is still present yet it's harmless to like them (if safety of their victims is less of our concern). Cuz these characters are more developed and usually have some kind of touching story that makes me sympathize with them. On the other hand the "nice" characters, the most of the time, are just unnecessarily nice with everything and have some dumb good guy personality just to show the bad guy's flaws... In the end I just find them really annoying a...... reply
Exactly… nowadays, murder is romanticized and people say “ I wouldn’t mind if [ ] were to kill me “ or “ I would watch [ ] murder somebody and care less” but in reality, they would run away if they saw somebody being murdered and would definitely mind if somebody was trying to kill them.
