So when are we gonna address this? Black people as a community we ask people to stop stereotyping us, but then we also have A LARGE number of black folks saying shit like "you act white" bruh how are y'all going to ask other poc and mayo packets to stop stereotyping us when we encourage the stereotypes in our community? shit like "we only listen to NBA YB" if you don't listen to mainly rap then your music taste is trash. Black girls especially, y'all encourage the stereotypes THE MOST. I'd be lying if i said all black people weren't loud and angry for no reason (in my experience). If you not loud as hell for no reason then "you're to quiet", if you talk with grammar and punctuation "why you type like dat" it's late here so if i messed up on sumn correct me ig. still, i said what i said, y'all encourage the stereotypes within our community but hate when other races bring up those sterotypes.
And then what concerns me is how whenever somebody mentions this shit, y'all are so fast to call them a coon. Nigga i'm not just gone sit here and pretend like y'all aren't wildn' are most of y'all ARE the problem. reply
oh lord major coon energy. I agree that statements like “you act white” are harmful to the community but this rest of shit just seems like shit people have said to YOU. This is more of a vent post then addressing the community post. Also care to explain how black women are the main perpetuators of the stereotypes because it’s usually black me...... 3 reply
I get called "whitewashed" at cookouts because I listen to different music genres and I'm usually quiet, Also I live around mainly white people so if I come at them with a different tone then theirs they'll claim I'm a fucking coon like 1 reply
I see nothing but facts here I get told I that talk like an oreo since I have some common sense and talk proper and since I don't talk ghetto or I don't act extra and stuff. And It stems from the self hatred that happens in the community whether you are too dark and are a "monkey" or if you are too light you are "not black enough". 2 reply
Then they wonder why some black people don’t even attempt to get to know them or will go off and marry another race that isn’t African American.... in my experience the people that bully other black people the most is black people, yet those same bullies are wondering why they’re suffering and all that other bullshit you dig that hole yoursel...... 1 reply
As a black person... why is this being addressed here? Because im almost 98% sure the demographic that needs to hear this isn't here on this manga site. 2 reply
