It's usually, "and they/he/she live(s) happily ever after." Unless the author implies something else which would be a waste of material tbh. I don't see a point in ending a story w/loose ends from an author's perspective because you'd lose out on potential money you could make. Although it's a different story if they get tired of the story or nobod......   reply
