False 'Fact'
Black holes are mysterious and scientists have many unanswered questions about them still, after decades of study. But what we do know is that the common perception of these phenomena as empty, star- and planet-devouring monstrosities, with such strong gravitational force that nothing can escape, is false.
They aren't empty, they are massive, and it's true that even light can't escape them if they're past the event horizon.
The only way something can escape them is if in the case of a subatomic particle, it ricochets when it still hasn't reached the event horizon, thus escaping the vicinity of a black hole.
