So i have had my fair share of romance manga's and I started thinking, why's there a huge amount of pedophilic,rape, incest manga's out there? Does the country have a dark history behind it? Like,if the trope itself is so mainstream there, there has to be a ton of people that consume that sick shit, so gimme a history/educational lesson guys~
Doesnt japan have a big problem with sexual assualt crimes?? In most mangas its so normal for characters to get molested on the train...

the country doesn't have to have a "bad history" for some where to be a bad place with bad things shown. pornhub was made in montreal of canada and it dwells with seriously illegal things as well so honestly it just depends on who it is in japan. japan also has a serious issue with laws like these, like the age of consent there is 13, and you might...... 1 reply
I mean the age of consent is 13 there which shows where their minds are at...And they don't take sexual assaults or rape in relationships serious at all especially in family settings where you have a lot of rape going but other families members will ignore it going on so they don't feel embarrassed by other people due to the shame they will face. 1 reply
