So i have had my fair share of romance manga's and I started thinking, why's there a huge amount of pedophilic,rape, incest manga's out there? Does the country have a dark history behind it? Like,if the trope itself is so mainstream there, there has to be a ton of people that consume that sick shit, so gimme a history/educational lesson guys~
its because Japan's justice system is so shit that things such as rape, pedophilia, and etc are easy to get away with. back in the edo period, japan had a third gender called "wakashu" but it wasn't all sunshine and lollipops. wakashus were actually young boys that had sex with older men. its the reason why genres like shotacon and lolicon seem so ...... reply
