why are people silent about problematic issues in yaoi??
Like seriously some people are quick to hate and call anything and everything problematic and toxic in shoujo/josei/ M|W smut series but so quiet about it in yaoi series??? and most of the time the yaoi series are WAAAY more problematic. Like I get if a series is not for you and makes you uncomfortable but some individuals are weird. Like they obviously dont care about these issues as much as they think they do if they are silent when there is problematic content in yaoi but so vocal about it in non yaoi series. Does that mean that its ok when there is abuse in gay/LGBTQIA+ couples but not it hetero couples???? I know this is fiction but this is how some people act.
Have you never been on the forum section before? There is at least one person calling out toxic BL tropes every day. Heck, there is even a Fujoshi debate every week. reply
where have you seen people talking about the stuff for hetero couples because i very much want to know deadass everyday all i see is "rape in yaoi is bad" questions on the forum i never see a "rape in josei is bad" 1 reply

no one says shit about the stuff in shoujo etc. there are way more people talking about the fucked up stuff that happens in yaoi than in other stories. literally the whole forum was full of people talking about how problematic some yaois are it's not our fault you just haven't seen it yet... reply
what are you even saying? You sound dumb ngl. Yaoi gets the most shit for it's toxic plots it's yuri/so that get ignored because the fandoms "aren't as loud" what?? Some people speak on all issues but yaoi is and always has been the most talked about. What some people??? 2 reply
