About the BL thing

Ok just a genuine curiosity for everyone that says that "yaoi" is not the correct term to use and that its outdated and that we should use the proper term "BL" instead. Like the reason why i use the term yaoi is because (yes i may seem like scum for saying this and no i do not fetishize gay men (︶︿︶)＝凸) i prefer yaoi over shounen ai and majority of the time if they dont get down on it then i wont be satisfied with the book. So yes i read it for the sex scenes fucking kill me for my preference!!! Moving on, i use the two genres of yaoi and shounen ai to differentiate the kind of male homosexual relationship manga/manhwa/manhua/webtoon by using those two genres. I steer clear of shounen ai (especially when theres fucking GOURGEOUS art) and ill read yaoi because if i dont see them getting down and dirty im not satisfied (bite me (￣へ￣)). And since shounen ai and yaoi are (well to me at least) used as labels to indicate yaoi= guaranteed at least one chapter of sex scene and shounen ai = guaranteed no chapter of sex scene but it is implied that they do have sex so if eveeyone just threw these labels away and just call it BL then what am i to do? Cause i also no that other use the two genres like i do but in reverse like how i use it to somewhat avoid shounen ai and how others use it to avoid yaoi cause they dont want sex scenes. I mean yeah we can label it as BL18+ in the tags but the first thing i look for is the genre. And if so will mangago be willing to change the whole yaoi and shounen ai tags to just BL and BL18+. Like look im frustrated with people hounding at me that yaoi is the outdated term or that its really insulting and that i should use proper terms. Well look here you have yoir valid reasons and i have mine. And i like what ive got going with clear distinct indications (UNLESS THEY LABEL IT WRONG BY SAYING ITS YAOI WHEN ITS ACTUALLY SHOUNEN AI LIKE WTF DONT DO THAT) of which BL im gonna read. I mean some of yall might not mind cause you guys dont mind if theres sex or no sex scene but hey you arent the only one in this site that has preference. Idk why i got heated at the end but yeah thats all.
