Litteraly nothing, since yaoi is basically porn. And how porn could change anything on your life execpt the fact you discovered some new fetishs. It just makes you feel a bit better When you get bored cuz reading yaoi is personally not my principal activity in my entire life . Maybe it affected my point of view in digital art since the webtoon art...... reply
I find that a lot of BL has a deep meaning behind them. I'm a sucker for things with deep meanings. Or sometimes they're just really fluffy and I like fluffy. Yaoi's not only a way to open our mind's on term of sexuality, it's also a way for denouncing inequalities between women and men, rapes and others abuses which seems legion in yaoi at the same state than random shojo's and co.
