Don't mind me, just watching all the fujos talk about how yaoi's impacted them and then turn right around and insist that it's "just fiction" and "doesn't affect anything".

I started reading yaoi very young, around 11 (I’m 28) so I think I discovered early that Love doesn’t actually limit to the F/M fairytale stereotypes. Even if I wouldn’t recommend young people to do the same, I think it helped me to grow up in an open minded person ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ reply

I remember my first experience with Yaoi was the anime Boku no Pico which was scarring experience btw. It made me veer away from the genre until I watched Jonjou Romantica at crunchyroll when it was still starting out. Since then I loved yaoi.
