I started reading yaoi very young, around 11 (I’m 28) so I think I discovered early that Love doesn’t actually limit to the F/M fairytale stereotypes. Even if I wouldn’t recommend young people to do the same, I think it helped me to grow up in an open minded person ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭   reply

Yaoi is like my priority rn in terms of genre. Lol. I remember my first experience with Yaoi was the anime Boku no Pico which was scarring experience btw. It made me veer away from the genre until I watched Jonjou Romantica at crunchyroll when it was still starting out. Since then I loved yaoi.
