Yuri or Yaoi?
I have an honest Question to people who both read Yaoi and Yuri (I'm talking about Both not One) which one do you think is better? And why do you think so?
Just got curios Cause I was legit having an argument with my friend about it, we just ended the conversation tho that both yuri an yaoi has thier own good and bad side... but it was still stuck on my mind. For you personally which do you think is better? ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

What you and your friend both decided on is my opinion as well. Both have their extremely toxic sides as well as their good, so I think whatever has a proper representation of the relationship/ gay and lesbian people I'm okay with both reply
I only read yuri for the sex. I read yaoi for the plot. I've only read one good yuri with an actual good plot. AND IT TAKES FOREVER to update. Yaoi has TO MANY sex scenes. So i'll say THE BLOOD OF MADAM GISELLE FOR THE WIN 1 reply
I prefer yaoi but I think GL or yuri can be equally as good. Some shoujo ai is really good but I don't really feel comfortable reading sex scenes of two females. I do like yuri mangas with good plot though with not too much sex scenes. Well, to be fair, I skip a bunch of sex scenes for every genre but I'm more used to seeing yaoi. reply
I really like both you can’t really compare them cause their both such wide genres and it all depends on preference but I will say most GL tends be less toxic compared to both BL and SL but that’s all I’ll say (〜￣△￣)〜 reply
