Male fans of yaoi are called "fudanshi" - yes, they exist enough to have their own group name. Some of them are gay, some are straight.

A couple of my straight guy friends along with a gay guyfriend of mine have read it before/read it currently. I dont really thing that gender has an impact on the story, i just think reading a manga relies a lot on the art style and story-telling. If its good in those factors practically anyone can enjoy it. reply
