fake intellectual dialogues
does anyone gets frustrated by the superficial/oversimplified portrayal of social issues in webtoons/mangas that are supposed to be realistic? its always watered down dialogues that are supposed to be intellectual takes on a serious issue but just come off as juvenile and uneducated. especially in romance and slice of life
It depends on the story and if I'm knowledgeable about the social issue myself. Honestly, I'm more likely to get mad if they misrepresent something I am educated about. However, it might be hypocritical, but if I don't know much about something I'll likely ignore it. Additionally, if it's something I'm actually interested in reading and I'm taking ...... reply
