does anyone gets frustrated by the superficial/oversimplified portrayal of social issues in webtoons/mangas that are supposed to be realistic? its always watered down dialogues that are supposed to be intellectual takes on a serious issue but just come off as juvenile and uneducated. especially in romance and slice of life
Mm because yes. I feel like a lot of authors make pieces specifically about homophobia to turn it I to tragedy, not even caring to explain in depth WHY its sad.
