fake intellectual dialogues
does anyone gets frustrated by the superficial/oversimplified portrayal of social issues in webtoons/mangas that are supposed to be realistic? its always watered down dialogues that are supposed to be intellectual takes on a serious issue but just come off as juvenile and uneducated. especially in romance and slice of life
to add on to this, I feel like a lot of these authors use these social issues almost like accessories to the story for realism and not out of interest. someone seriously needs to tell these people that taking on these serious themes that impact a lot of people in society is a responsibility and can be harmful if done badly or too superficially.
