To those who like tragedy, why?
I tend to avoid tragedy with a 10 ft pole since I really don't like the sad feelings that linger but when I have, I am usually OKAY at most just a little teary. I had avoided tragedy for so long but I recently watched banana fish and it completely destroyed me. I bawled for the main characters and cried so much. I am thoroughly traumatized and vow to never go through such a painful experience again (dramatic i know, but I'm just very disheartened). But for those who seek it and enjoy tragic endings, why?
As a person who absolutley craves stories that deal with tragedy and difficult themes, I feel like I can answer this question for you! I understand why some people would avoid reading tragic stories.
