To those who like tragedy, why?
I tend to avoid tragedy with a 10 ft pole since I really don't like the sad feelings that linger but when I have, I am usually OKAY at most just a little teary. I had avoided tragedy for so long but I recently watched banana fish and it completely destroyed me. I bawled for the main characters and cried so much. I am thoroughly traumatized and vow to never go through such a painful experience again (dramatic i know, but I'm just very disheartened). But for those who seek it and enjoy tragic endings, why?
I've gotten hooked on the melancholic feeling from reading tragedy. Love tragedies, more specifically. I'm guessing its an emotion born from my own intense desire to find love and a soulmate. The pain i get in my heart when i read love tragedies (especially the ones where the protagonist gets betrayed by their love) is an emotion that I feel is rel...... reply
