Did I make this topic just because I have a shit memory and I don't want to pull out a chart anytime someone puts /whateverthefuck- then you're absolutely right- Who the hell decided that we should memorize a whole list of this bullshit when you can just make your message obvious through context-
As someone who has a very hard time distinguishing between people's tones in text, I think tone indicators are good for everyone. Because if you say some stupid joke that's offensive and put /j or /s behind it if someone sees it you can avoid unneeded negative interactions with them. If you don't want to memorize or use them, that is fine. You don'...... reply
