Why are some ppl on this site like this?
I’ve been using mangago for a long time, and recently made a new account. I’ve always been confused as to why ppl on here read things knowing that it would make them uncomfortable…and then start drama in the comment section? Wouldn’t it be better for ppl to just mind their own business and just read what they like? Like it’s totally cool that ppl are uncomfortable with or are disgusted by certain tropes, but calling ppl disgusting or sick over fictional content is so bizarre to me? It just screams “I don’t like this type of fictional content so no one is allowed to either”.
fr. Everyone has their own taste when it comes to stories they want to read. And even if others are reading those with wierd content, that doesnt mean they can't separate fiction from reality. reply
when you really need to rant over it cuz a lot of people are normalizing a wrong content, but it still depends on the manga and the people reading it. just trying to balance my opinion on both sides but overall i agree w/you reply

Backstory of this picture is about a rape apologist and people who like rape in mangas that argue with those who say something about it saying "stop bitching". Some tropes that are problematic like romanticized rape are bound to be criticized as it should.

I mean I guess it really matters depending on the content? What you said can be only applied to situations where it's just two guys dating each other and nothing else. It would be weird to hate on a couple for no reason at all.
