"Fixing" someone's art?
I have seen some controversy about "fixing" other people's art. Examples of this are: adjusting a character or oc's body size, the skin color, etc. Some people have been editing other people's art or characters so they look black, such as genshin impact characters. I want to know your opinion on "fixing" or changing someone else's art, and whether you think that if there is no bad intent behind it, if it should be tolerated?
I’m only gonna be talking about the skin colour part. I’ve seen LOADS of artists whitewashing kaeya in their fanart so obviously people are gonna fix the fanart, because whitewashing a character with dark skin isn’t tolerable at all.
