"Fixing" someone's art?
I have seen some controversy about "fixing" other people's art. Examples of this are: adjusting a character or oc's body size, the skin color, etc. Some people have been editing other people's art or characters so they look black, such as genshin impact characters. I want to know your opinion on "fixing" or changing someone else's art, and whether you think that if there is no bad intent behind it, if it should be tolerated?
As someone who likes to draw I would feel attacked if someone took my art and "fixed" it. The problem isn’t even about someone changing things in a drawing and playing around, the problem is the way people go about it. So if for example someone took a character from my art and changed the hair/skin color or anything like that, gave me credit for ...... 2 reply
