Is this morally wrong?
Say there was a newly discovered species that looked exactly like miniature humans (about 3 feet tall but fully developed to look like an adult) but were found deep in the ocean and acted more like a fish without any sentience, and that species tasted incredibly delicious. Would it be morally wrong to eat them? Would you try eating one?

This depends on the moral perspective you speak from.
