Personally, I wouldn’t, unless we developed from friendship and gradually fall in love (love from personality). Overweight person does not pose a good first impresssion as a boyfriend material. Their weight can also imply their health (get tired easily), how much they take care of themselves, and so on.

People who say they don't judge based on appearance are just saying that to make themselves feel and look good. Anyways, I would date a fat guy depending on their looks. I would say yes to overweight and mildly obese guys who will go to the gym with me to lose weight. I would pass on morbidly obese people.

I actually am. We have been together for the last 6 years and it's the forever kind. I don't care as long as I know he is keeping an active and healthy lifestyle. My first boyfriend was chubby it was actually nice? He was really nice to hug, super soft! Personally don't care about appearance, and none of my friends do either. As long as you're a good person and have a fun personality. Trust me that can take you a long way! Other than that just make sure you're hygiene is good and there shouldn't be a problem...... 1 reply

I generally don't judge anyone based on their appearance, but in the cace of fat + potential boy friend, I do take a second look. This is because I am trying to figure out if their fat because their lazy and make unhealthy life choices or if they are just what my mom would call "Big Boned" (my dads version of that for girls was "Pleasantly Plump" o...... reply
If you're feeling unsure or lacking, as if you being you isn't good enough. Give yourself some time first to work on you. And I dont necessarily mean your weight. If you want a happy and healthy relationship then it's truly important to work on your mental health first.
