Would you ever recommend yaoi manga to a friend/sister who's like 3 years younger than you? Let's say that you're 17/18 and your friend is 14. Is that normal? I'm not talking about yaoi manga that's obviously porn. I'm talking about normal yaoi manga that has a good plot and interesting characters (like Life Senjou no Bokura, Blue Lust and Sojou No Koi Wa Nido Haneru). I've just recently joined a new friend group and one of the girls (she's 18 years old) says that she discusses yaoi with her 14 year old sister. Is that too weird?
It wouldn't be weird if it just fluffy BLs no p0rn or whatever, it may help them understand the LGBT+ community and learn about it.
I know cause reading BL/GL (or LGBT+ comics in general) made me understand the LGBT+ community.
Reading BL or GL can be a first step to learn about not only LGBT but also your sexual orientation. reply
