What does "Sniping" mean?

Google exists for some reason you know? If you meant the gun type of sniping it's mean shooting somebody from a hidden place that the person can't see and if you meant the other type of sniping or something like that go try looking up for it on Google   reply

I assume that you’re talking about scanlation sniping. It means to steal/take over a project from someone else while the manga is being actively uploaded/translated.
