What does "Sniping" mean?
Alright, I have to say I'm pretty dumb, so I'm not too familiar with the word “sniping” so can someone explain to me what it means? Please and thank you!
I assume that you’re talking about scanlation sniping. It means to steal/take over a project from someone else while the manga is being actively uploaded/translated. You may have heard of s2, a group that uploads poorer quality uploads at a faster pace in place of groups that are uploading them. They are known for sniping. This makes the original...... reply
