Do you think media that is targeted towards women often hated more?
I had this conversation with someone, and they were saying how shoujo/josei were inferior to shounen/seinen. Guys like stuff that has, quote on quote, "more story than shoujo since women only like shitty romance", end of quote. Same goes for stuff like Kpop that is often shat on for similar reasons as well. Not the first time I have seen and heard stuff like that.
Women are hated more in the media in general but as a male i have to say the anime catered to women are often times really shitty in terms of love interests. The men are usually, predators, sex offenders, violent and very abusive and though it has changed recently with things like 'my happy marriage', we still have things like 'fruits basket' (refe...... 1 reply
