Annoying plots and tropes vent
What are yours?(unpopular opinions only)
Here are some that annoy me
1. being instantly liked by powerful people: they have legit have no interaction or real relationship with these people even if it's just strictly business ( I mean literally borderline classic manga heroine-type stuff ), the title may be something suggesting that they are loved conditionally without any reason for it.
2. A sentence summing many manhwas into one: "Look at me as I totally leave ("forever") and act "uninterested" in this man who treats me like trash, maybe lets others abuse me and is too dense to see any signs, sleeps with me (oh I TOTALLY didn't sleep with him after he almost left me to die ), oh yeah and "definitely" chose another man who was treating me right."
3. Engages with people they say they want to avoid and always responds to them(I've only seen one instance where the mc says "Why tf should I care? or Is that my business?")
4. that one time the mc was a maid and was sniffing ml's clothes (I dropped that shit, cuz if it was a man y'all would have something to say, eg. him randomly sniffing the hair of something)
5. Letting annoying people join the cast- let's be real what do they even do besides fangirl you?
6....THE TIE BREAKER: It must be at least a question bro... BARAM yes that Baram, she had a whole ass lotta mouth in that dialogue when she fought home boy's daughter but PLEASE PLEASE JUST TELL ME why... she didn't have two brain cells to end their relationship (don't give anything I've read on webtoon's comment section...) "your father was a coward" girl... I just gotta be the public enemy, why did you (who obviously isn't dumb and a pushover come on!) date this older man who could realistically have a wife, exes and multiple kids because of his age...and why your TEACHER?????? has she been reading Wattpad and thinking that would end well. I'm only mad at the fact that she had the balls to act dense (even though what the daughter was doing was wrong) to pretend to have no comprehension as to why the daughter was acting that way, and was telling her fuck off and that she had no involvement in the daughter's life at all. It's not her fault he decided to end himself or cheat with her but it is to pretend she didn't indirectly involve herself with her educator, this man's family, the girls father.....anyway go on, come for me cuz i'm questioning this college kid, I mean hey if everybody else is defending her in the webtoon you might as well do it too.
extra: I understand that she feels a bit of empathy when the poster was ripped down petitioning for her to return(even though kims daughter was wrong for attacking her) but at that point, I was like "Why do you even feel sorry when you deny any involvement in her life?"
