When I was around 5 or so, my family lived in the tropics in a house on stilts. I used to go on the verandah, climb over the railing, slide down the drain pipe, run to the front and up all the stairs, then bang open the door and happily say, “Hi Mom!”
I did it over and over, sure in my mind that mom must have been amazed at how I kept arriving...... reply
