HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ON MANGAGO FOR ?
So, I’ve noticed a lot of people registered around 2020 we have been around here since probably 2012/ 2013 and decided to register around 2014.
I noticed a lot of people view this site as nothing more than a “ porn “ site.
What many people do not know is that before the rise of Korean BL’s. Traditional Romance was the main category together with the old classic mangas.
Then yaoi Japanese mangas came by and much more Later on it was the rise of Korean manwhas.
So to me , mangago is just a site where to read all mangas/ manwhas with notifications. A sort of library. And the best so far. It accompanied me through my teenage years and adulthood. ( too broke to purchase anything but I do when I get the chance)
Joined in 2017 but started using mangago in 2016. So seven years, wow.
When I joined I think yaoi was the big next thing already. But I also remember Manhwa coming around much later. Back then yaoi was also rarely smutty and generally much shorter. 2 reply
There was a similar question before.
Anyways I've been on here for 9 years, only made an account last year though. I read basically anything that's interesting or looks entertaining, I'm pretty flexible with what kind of genre or stuff I read. 1 reply
Been using this site since 2016, though I created this account in 2017. Back then, mangago didn't have the lady me ads after finishing a chapter and you could comment on the stories with the anonymous option. It's not there now, I guess. Also, I agree with you with the mangas popping up like that. Korean manhwas took the storm because smart phones....... 1 reply
been here since 2015, I've been reading manga online since 2011 but I prefer this site it's a nice simple design with no ads, a good search engine and I can read almost anything I want here not just BL. reply
It was 2017 when I decided to create an account because I didn't really know the merit of logging in back then. When I knew that I could keep reading without tapping next and just scrolling down I created an account and since then I have also been able to keep track of my reads and want to read. I guess I was wandering in mangago for almost two yea...... reply
I probably started reading here 2015 when I was in my last year of high school and made an account the year the ads became too much because I hated the constant influx of ads. Who would’ve thought 7-8-ish years later I’d still be here? reply
