I'm almost 20 yet I haven't fall for for years and there's the first guy who I really catch a feeling with, that just really played me for no having reason and choose my ex bsf instead, I was 18 at that time. To the point I was suicidal and depressed till this day. My peers have been bullying me for being a virgin and "scared" just because I wasn't fall for anyone even If I tried dating app, there's no avail for me to catch a real feelings. Why wouldn't I fall for anything expect the guy who played me and fictional characters.
You may be demiromantic, meaning that in order to catch romantic feelings for someone you gotta have a strong emotional connection to them. So if you couldn't do this in those years, it may be the reason. And it'd be totally okay. People fall in love differently.
