Why do ya'll mainly read BL/yaoi?
For me I have a bad habit of self inserting in stories where the FMC is bland/has no personality which leads me to not enjoy the story. I cant self insert in yaoi cus im not a guy, so I can read the series at face value even if both MCs are trash/poorly written.
most of BL stories have simple and stupid plots or sometimes no plot at all, so I find that easy to digest. I'm suck at reading actual good thick plotted romance stories. A little bit of second hand embarrassment and angst will already stress me tf out. reply
