Why do ya'll mainly read BL/yaoi?
For me I have a bad habit of self inserting in stories where the FMC is bland/has no personality which leads me to not enjoy the story. I cant self insert in yaoi cus im not a guy, so I can read the series at face value even if both MCs are trash/poorly written.
i'm a straight dude, so i do not find any appeal in men but shoujos that are targeted towards women, it's just cringe most of the time, same with shoujo targeted towards men, it's just mostly porn or harem. I can't give less of a shit abt is it men or women, BL just happens to have a wider range of tropes and plots while still being romance 2 reply
