I think it’s no surprise that bl/ yaoi contains a lot of taboo or problematic themes, but why is incest so common. I don’t even mean step siblings but blood relations. Like I don’t see the appeal and why so many authors would choose incest to be part or the central theme of their stories.
Incest, rape, pedophillia, abuse etc and the craziest part is that we have people who defend such behaviors just cuz the guy is “hot” and also defend mangas/webtoons with these things normalized .
