If you want to go by the literal definition of the word then you would be a virgin, but the image that the word "virgin" brings to mind (innocent, no sexual experience, young, "pure") may not apply to you, which is what could be making you hesitant to consider yourself a virgin. Depends what you consider a virgin. It can be just breaking the hymen, penetration or consensual sex. In my country breaking the hymen is considered losing virginity (even though you can break it on a bike or be born without it). In your case if you partner asks, you should explain detail, since your situation isn’t common.   reply
