thoughts on the idols made in abyss controversy
i'm just curious about people's different opinions on this. on one hand kpop fans are very angry and disgusted with the idols involved watching/reading made in abyss, and on the contrary many anime/manga fans are shocked that people are even angry, and are trying to "cancel" the idols over this.
ive heard things about the author, and i remember watching a few eps in 2017. i don't think it was that bad but idk? kpop and anime mostly have different demographics, but i'm seeing the most discourse coming from people who haven't read or watched made in abyss. do u think they should "cancel" the idols over this, or is it not that serious?
(srry this is long, i'm just so curious bc the reactions from this controversy have been so mixed )
i haven't really read or watch the anime (only read ch. 1), so i really can't tell how okay it is to recommended it to millions of your followers bcs there's a huge opinion difference from anime side and kpop side. i myself always thinks as long as you can seperate rl and fantasy, you are okay. that being said, reading the first chapter of the mang...... reply
