Gay Couples...

Gay guy here. I'm just curious about one thing. Most gay guys around me are verse, like 80%. Guys who are in a relationships, most of time, both of them are verses also.
So reading mangas where the couples are exclusively bottom/top I just feel like they're missing out because both experiences are good and hard to pass. It's not my business for sure, but I'm a nosy person. (▰˘◡˘▰) Thoughts?

Fellow queer here, I'd say its due to the heteronormitive nature of most stories, mainly caused by the fact that they're written by straight women. There are gay people who are exclusively top or bottom, there isnt anything wrong with that. Lets be real though, BL is Heteronormative thats primarily why there is this sort of consensus that the person who bottoms is always feminine and the person who tops is always masculine. Well when it comes to real life, my experiences are almost entirely different from yours actually lol. It's been quite rare for me to find guys who really are verse, most at least around me are pretty strictly one position. It was like that in (at least a suburb of) the town over as well. My thoughts exactly. Am not a man but this has always bothered me. Like there's nothing wrong with liking a position more than the other (or liking neither), but not even trying??? They ALWAYS have to make the more "masculine" one top and more "feminine" one bottom. They hate accepting the idea of hemosexuality sm that they have to "heterosexualize" it (only talking about the ones that do that, its completely alright to play in one specific position).
