So I just read this oneshot and it left me with a few questions. It's short af so please read it and share your views on what the ending meant. I am also puzzled by the scene of the girl at her home and what all that meant.
She said she already ate but she had not. Then there was that scene of her sitting at the desk and I was confused by that too. Her 'greed' that she mentioned, is she talking about how her color is rainbow and thus she is greedy in terms of having a lot colors (which I think means a person's nature).
I also think that she fakes her personality. The shift in her behaviour from school to home to the next day was drastic and it also makes sense with the rainbow stuff.
The ending was the most confusing thing though. I myself think the dude's color was a hue, not yellow / green / blue or any other color.
Interesting manga, for once I found a great distraction that I felt didn't actually waste my time. I did a quick research and discovered that this Manga was actually part of a oneshot series called Teens Company
Chap. 1-3; Teens Company
Chap. 4; REMEMBER 4 SIDE
Chap. 5; Ato no matsuri
And Chap. 6; Colors.
I can't find the other chapters to this se...... 1 reply
Interesting oneshot.
I think the girl’s source of unhappiness comes from her home. As she is swallowed by the darkness in the corridor, the light in the room full of warm laughter and joy contrasts sharply also with the dark void in her heart.
I think the girl believed herself to be rainbow, because that’s how her classmates perceive her. By...... 1 reply
Unrequited love maybe? So when she realized that he doesn't love her back looking how carefree he was after getting a compliment from her, he was no longer her sunshine, thus he was no longer the color yellow. And if I wasn't wrong, if you mix all color together it will become the color white just like her 1 reply
I’m gonna be yapping anyways
I think the colours like u said, and also symbols represents human’s nature. In the end I think she finds solace that both she and Okamoto were the same. Maybe they both didn’t know who they really are, or can’t be their authentic selves either.
