Anyone one else get very depressed during periods?

It's so bad for me all i have eaten since yesterday is an orange (it's 5:00pm now). I start getting such suicidal thoughts and cry sm. The worst i have done during periods is literally self harm. There's nothing I can do about it. It's just always happens plus I get so painful cramps
I usually got too many emotions that I can't explain you but I hate getting wet from over flow and blood smell and thik maybe it's better if we don't have menstruation cycle like lots animals or lay unfertilized egg like hen instead of getting period 2 reply
