general advice: be yourself firstly. if they like you for who you are that’s great and if they don’t then it’s their loss.
also always verbalise your concerns in a relationship even if it’s small (since communication is key)

As someone who's in the last year of studying psychology, please please for the love of the god love yourself. Find out your flaws and love them. Find out your strengths and love them. Be careful of your expectations. Better to set them low, to not get disappointed or smth. Also, keep in mind communication ! Always ! Number one rule ! Wouldn't want misunderstandings or doubts in your relationship, right?
