Female characters

Gris Gris 2023-12-31 04:55:29 About question
It hurts me to see that authors don't put a lot of effort on writing their soft female characters, so those characters ended up being one dimensional when they're not. The image of a strong female character, and well written too while you're at it, is a cold, ruthless, violent characters. Which is not bad, but that is not the only thing women is capable of. I absolutely think it stems from men thinking that soft women are weak, and feminity (and everything that stems from it like empathy) is considered as "weak". So naturally, woman had to rebel against it by creating these strong female characters. I absolutely love both characteristics but soft female characters had my heart because of the many hate they get. A girly girl character, who's kindness is beyond this world. There isn't a day where I won't see any bias between soft female characters vs strong female characters but let me dream.

Yess i love cold girls more but i see so many people complain when the female character is ‘weak’ saying that the author is misogynistic when really is some girls are strong, some girls are not so strong.

i hate reading about pushovers that get taken advantage of by the male leads but i think girls should be allowed to be written as soft without people saying shes weak and also without the authors always putting them in awful situations and using her personality as an excuse just to fulfill whatever they want to see their male characters doing
